EuroAsiaSPI 2020 is the "27th International Conference on Systems, Software and Services Process Improvement". It presents and discusses results from systems, software and services process improvement and innovation (SPI) projects in industry and research, focusing on the gained benefits and the criteria for success. I shall give a presentation titled: "Expanding the Tactical Level in ISO/IEC 33014 to Deal with a Broader Set of Change Initiatives". The paper is co-authored by Peter H. Carstensen. SNESCM 2019 is the fifteenth "Scandinavian SCM day". The Scandinavian SCM day is an opportunity for people from academia and industry with a passion for Software Configuration Management to get together once a year to discuss SCM, exchange ideas and share problems. I shall facilitate an Open Spaces theme titled: "What role will a SCM professional play in a modern Agile or DevOps organization?" We will try to find out how SCM specialists will be involved in modern development teams/organisations, and whether they need new qualifications.

21. October 2010, LUCAS Day, Lund University (LTH), Lund.
The objective of the LUCAS Day is to inspire and develop collaboration between industry and academia in the field of applied software research. Lars Bendix and I shall give a half-day workshop titled: "What would you like CM to do for you - and what value can CM bring you?"
18. - 20. October 2010, History of Nordic Computing, Department of Computer and Systems Sciences at Stockholm University, Kista.
History of Nordic Computing - HiNC3 is the Third IFIP WG 9.7 Working Conference on History of Nordic Computing. It is sponsored and organised jointly by the Department of Computer and Systems Sciences at Stockholm University and the Swedish Computer Society. The first and second conferences on the history of Nordic computing were organized in Trondheim (2003) and Turku (2007) respectively. I shall give a presentation titled:
"The use of interpretation for data acquisition and control; its impact on software development and project management". The conference proceedings are published by Springer in their AICT series (IFIP AICT 350). The paper can be found here along with my presentation slides (2MB).
8. June, SNESCM 2010, Lund.
SNESCM 2010 is the "Sixth Scandinavian SCM day". The Scandinavian SCM day is an opportunity for people from academia and industry with a passion for Software Configuration Management to get together once a year to discuss SCM, exchange ideas and share problems. I shall moderate a panel discussion titled: "SCM as a service - what do our customers want?" The panel will take a look at SCM from the perspective of the many diverse users and their differing needs. The panelists comprise both SCM specialists and users of SCM.

SNESCM 2009 is the "Fifth Scandinavian SCM day". 10. - 13. November, EuroSTAR 2008, World Forum Convention Center, The Hague, Netherlands.
EuroSTAR is the oldest and largest European conference on testing. Originally it was connected with the US STAR conferences (Software Testing Analysis and Review), but has for many years now been independent of these. This year's theme is: "The Future of Software Testing". I shall give a presentation on the subject of: "Analysing Your Defect Data for Improvement Potential"

SNESCM 2007 is the "Third Scandinavian SCM day". The Scandinavian SCM day is an opportunity for people from academia and industry with a passion for Software Configuration Management to get together once a year to discuss SCM, exchange ideas and share problems. I shall give a presentation titled: "Changing Developers’ Attitude towards SCM". The presentation is based on an experiment to improve the configuration management process focusing on creating a better understanding with developers for the value of SCM rather than documenting/updating existing configuration management procedures.

PROFES 2006 is the "7th International Conference on Product Focused Software Process Improvement". It concentrates on professional software process improvement motivated by product quality needs. I am a member of the programme committee. I shall give a presentation titled: "A Framework for Classification of Change Approaches Based on a Comparison of Process Improvement Models". Quality Week Europe is the European counterpart of one of the major US conferences in the quality and testing arena (Software Quality Week). This year's theme is: "Internet Now!" I am on the International Advisory Board for the conference. I shall give a half-day tutorial on: "An Introduction to Defect Analysis".

EuroSTAR is the oldest European conference on testing. Originally it was connected with the US STAR conferences (Software Testing Analysis and Review), but is now independent of these. This year's theme is: "Let's all work together". Together with Lars Bendix I shall give a full day tutorial on the subject of: "Configuration Management from a Developer's Perspective".

10. - 12. October, EuroSPI 2001, Limerick Institute of Technology, Ireland.
EuroSPI is a conference organised by a number of European training- and consultancy organisations working with software process improvements. The conference theme is: "The Combination of Methodologies, Tools, and Cultural Factors - The Holistic Approach". I am one of the delegates from DELTA. Together with Bent Adsersen I shall also give a full day tutorial on the subject of: "Improving your Influence in the Organisation".
